Before we started the renovation, an insurance rider was taken to ensure and damage is covered by insurance.

Typical communication between the designer and the main contractor. This is the beauty of mobile phone with cameras.

A typical project meeting with all stakeholders - project manager, main contractor, aircond contractor etc.

A quote that we got to get temporary air-conditioning. Did get it in the end.

A picture tells a story that is difficult to misinterpret.

The lobby is no more. Looks like a war zone.

All the old pipes and wires also got to go. Main work is done at night.

Very dusty.

The ceiling plasterboard in now on the floor.

By morning, the debris has been hauled away.

Didn't realised how spacious the floor was.

When completed, all the piping will be exposed as a form of ceiling art.

The main aircond blower has been removed.

My room as I knew it, is no more. The table and the carpets have been ripped off.

...stripped bare...

Only the chairs are not touched (yet).

My cabinets are now in pieces. Being set away to be re-purposed and re-used some else.

The last meeting in the board room. Despite the meeting, the demolishing crew was still hard at work. They are taking down the glass panels.
