Another Seiko, but this time it is not a watch.....
Finally got myself multi-focal glasses.
Been getting difficult to read small prints with my current glasses. So, ordered a new one after getting my eyesight checked by an optometrist.
Lenses are expensive piece of engineered/policed glass. Cost me a bomb to get it.When it came to choosing the frame for it, my eyes caught this - a Seiko Titanium frame. I didn't know that Seiko also produces glass frames.

Langkawi Holiday, November 2013 - 05 - Island Tour, a visit to the Arts & Craft Centre and a glass blowing demonstration

The next day, after a very hearty breakfast with a lovely view of the Andaman Sea, we headed out for a tour of the island. We had a car and a driver to takes us around for a few hours.
The first stop is the Arts and Craft Centre of Langkawi. A large complex where you can get a number of stuff.
The entrance.
In some wings of the complex you will find wood products, cloths and in this particular wing, batik painting.
An actual bating painting workshop is available for you to see the artists in action. The whole complex is air-conditioned.
There was also a crystal glass blowing studio in the complex.
Saw an artist working on molten crystal.
Below is a video of how the artist created a crystal bird from a blob of hot molten glass.
