In the Asia section, there are two key rides recommended: The Everest Expedition and The Kali River Rapids. The former is a roller-coaster ride while the latter is a white water rafting ride.
We decided to go for the first one first and the second one last as we were told we could get wet.
A beautiful place. Disney spent a lot of time, effort and money to make it memorable.
Even the monkey sanctuary was designed over a small lake with islands and temple-like structures.
A typical mud clay building.
Famous trucks from the Indian sub-continent. Very gaily decorated. Now an ice-cream stand.
The Everest Expedition with a replica of Mount Everest. The entrance of the ride. Disney made everything as authentic as possible.
After the ride we decided to get an early lunch, before the lunch crowd starts. We chose the Yak & Yeti Restaurant, a proper sitting down establishment. A bit pricy but expected because of the table service that is part of the experience. Just outside the restaurant was this nice antique looking bell.
My son and daughter number two.
My son and I.
The facade of the restaurant. It is actually a big restaurant over two floors.
My son looks bored. Hungry I bet.
Flew half way around the world to find "MALAYSIA SEAFOOD CURRY" in a menu of a restaurant in Disneyworld. Wow!! Expensive though.
While waiting for the food to arrive the kids were having fun with crayons and stuff. Surprisingly, its the older kids that like it.....
After lunch we walked for sometime to let our stomach settle down. Had soft icecream. Yummy. By then, the crowd have start to come.

We then headed towards the African section.
To be continued.
