My first big ceramic kitchen knife

This is my first ceramic knife. Always wanted one due to the unique material used for the blade.

Best thing is that it was free as part of the few free gifts I got with my new Hurom Slow Juicer.

It is sharp!

The Bialetti Moka Express

I saw an article about this product the other day. I am actually quite impress with its capability to create an espresso by just using a pressure vessel and a stove. As a space saving devise, it sure beats having a coffee machine on a kitchen counter.

I am thinking in investing in one. Anyone has any experience with this machine? I would grateful for any comments that you may have on it.

My little professional coffee machine: Dolce Gusto by Krups

Last Friday, got myself a small gift for Christmas, a little professional coffee machine by Krups. Under the brand Dolce Gusto, Nescafe has been pushing this type of machines for the last 1 and a half years. Finally say a package that I couldn't refuse.

On top of that, I got it in a department store that also give store credits on previous spends. Overall, got it for just RM325.

Trip to Penang Island & Hard Rock Hotel - Day 1.5 - Fun in the sun and dinner

[see previous postings]

It was a tiring day of driving. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool. In this picture my kids are dressed and waiting at the 5th floor lift lobby to go to the pool.

After a couple of hours we got back to change and get ready for dinner. As usual, the kids wanted pictures to be taken of them in various unique chairs in the resort.

The gangsta pose.

We headed towards the pizza restaurant, an open air eatery in the resort that is beside the beach. The open kitchen allows us to see the chefs at work. Overall, the food was quite tasty.

After dinner we all went to sleep.

To be continued.
