Although this watch is relatively large, with a casing size of 46 mm in diameter (excluding crown and crown guard) and a height of approximately 15 mm, it doesn't look big due to the 24 mm wide bracelet that comes standard with it.
The dial is well balanced. Every hour point is indexed and the small date window has been placed closer to the center so as not to interfere with indexing. The power reserve indicator placed at the 6 o'clock position is a logical choice as it maintains the symmetry of the dial. The choice of yellow for the second-hand is clever as it contrast nicely with the deep blood red colour of the dial.
The black PVD dial makes a nice distinction between the red dial and the stainless steel watch casing and bracelet. As required for all dive watches, a lumed index is provided on the bezel at the 60 minute mark.
Orient is quite generous when applying the lume on the watch. In the shot below, despite a relatively lighted room, the lumed indexes and hands shines brightly. The proprietary chemicals used for the lume makes it comparable to the illumination created by tritium powered watches.
I find the Orient MForce to be very comfortable. As it does not have any sharp angles, it easily slips into shirt cuffs hence its ability to be used during formal functions. A true all-rounder.
