Istanbul Trip - Part 5 - Taksim Square, Turkish food

After the conference, got a few hours before sun goes down to go around town. A very picturesque town with a lot of foreign visitors.

What impress me most is the cleanliness. Spotless. Malaysian's must emulate this. As for the weather, a nice 21 degree Celsius makes its a wonderful time to walk around, even at night.

A lounge in one of the hotel in the centre of town.

The famous Taksim Square. Shopping and restaurants abound.

Just people. No motor vehicles allowed. If they make this a rule in Bukit Bintang, it will be a real happening place.

A typical Turkish meal, a table full of food! In all honesty, the food is a bit bland for me. Merely consist of barbecue meat. Vegetables are usually eaten raw.

Next day, just before the flight back to Malaysia, decided to do a lightning tour of the famous landmark of Turkey, the Blue Mosque, Hagar Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. To get to that area, decided to get a taxi to get there.

The Blue Mosque.

Part of the Aegean Sea.

The old fortification wall. Byzantine period.
