The Andaman Resort, Langkawi

I had the opportunity to stay at the Andaman Resort in Langkawi. A pricey hotel but it has all the amenities that anyone would need. It is a 5-star hotel and it looks like it too, so I do not have to go and review that aspect of the hotel. As you can see from the various pictures below, the room is very comfortable.

The only comment that I want to make is its proximity to the jungle. As the hotel was designed to follow the contour of the beach, if you were given a room that is far away from the lobby, it will take some time to walk down the long corridor.

At night it can be quite scary with the jungle being pitch-black and sounds coming out of it. Also, the specter of wild monkeys and giant lizards makes one very cautions.

I know what it feels like to have to walk through some jungles to reach the beach. Stayed at one such chalet at Perhentian before and the pitch darkness and monitor lizards are so scary.
