Location Review: Bird Park, Kuala Lumpur

This bird park has the biggest net covered natural habitat in the world. Practically all the birds in the park are free to roam around the huge park. Apart from the birds, the flora is also something to behold. Although I don't know the exact size of the park, I would hazard a guess that it is at least 30 acres.

The park is situated beside the Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur. Getting there is easy and parking spots are ample.

Kids will love the park as there are a number of activities that they can do. Taking photos with parakeets is a favorite activity.

Even if flora and fauna is not your cup of tea, if one follows the path provided, one could get a good workout. However, guests should watch out of falling bird pooh!

Verdict: A very interesting visit and if you have kids, it is a must.
