Switzerland trip - Day 5 - Spending a night at the Hilton, Innsbruck, Austria

After a very travel filled day, it is time to crash for the night. Our destination was the Hilton Hotel at  Innsbruck, Austria. This hotel is classified as a three star (?) hotel and looking at the decor, it sounds about right.

Below was the corridor to our floor. Very 1980s.

Food wise, it is five star to me. It has everything. The kids enjoyed it immensely.

It was a nice touch to have fresh cut flowers on the table. Umm, wonder where they got daisies during winter?

Despite the very health conscious European Union, the hotel provided a special balcony on each floor for smokers. As it not a holiday season in Europe, the hotel was empty and we got to go the balcony to snap a few photos of the city.

Innsbruck does not have tall buildings. Very pleasing to the eyes.

The Hilton Hotel's rooms are very conventional in design and looks very 1980s. Still with CRT TV sets instead of the latest flat screen TVs.

The toilet also looks dated. By the way, tile flooring is not a good idea during winter - cold! You need  house slippers to go to the bathroom.

The coffee house is dimly lit.

High backed cubicles are very not in style now.

Interesting art pieces.

Food galore! The bread choices are simply mouth watering.

Selection of yogurt was also incredible.

Freshly made jams.

The hotel decor.
