Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Melaka. Nice clean place and the view is very nice. You can see the Straits of Melacca and on a clear day, you can just make out Sumatera Island.
The buildings that you see are all on reclaimed land (including the Holiday Inn Hotel itself).
In the evening you can see a lot of people fishing along the shores.
