Money and power are inversely related to bravery

The formula:

Money + Power = 1 / f(bravery)

Where: f(bravery) is a mathematical function with bravery as its independent variable

Is very true for human beings. The more money and power one accumulates, the less brave one gets to put one’s body in harm’s way. Some simple examples:
  1.  Kings and generals, 99.999% of the time position themselves at the back of their armies while in battle;
  2. Presidents and Prime Ministers have countless bodyguards and armoured official cars;
  3. Billionaires have proxy CEOs sitting on their many companies.

Recently, we find all the most expensive football players in the world “couldn’t” perform at the World Cup. Why? Because, they don’t want to be injured as to affect their lucrative contracts with their professional clubs. Need I give examples? Why not.

  1. Wayne Rooney
  2. Fernando Torres
  3. Ronaldo, etc. etc.
Whereas poor people will be the one sacrificing their very existance to make a small living.

Moral of the story? Once we become “fat cats” we cannot hunt anymore!
