Ri-Yaz Heritage Resort and Spa: Rooms & convenience are ultra-modern: Part 2

The hotel room is also very modern and sophisticated. Before you enter the foyer of the bungalow, you will be presented with a very nice view of the veranda. The design is Malay architecture. In the picture below, putting glass as part of the railing is very contemporary and increase visibility. Hence, it has the look of an open concept.

Externally, the use of glass and wood makes it feel very rich. Below is the back view of the river facing bungalows.

Internally, the extensive use of wood and the arrangement of the various wood grain creates a design of its own. The picture below shows you the various kinds of wood and material used just for the doorway alone.

Entertainment systems consist of a Samsung 42in LCD screen with Astro, DVD player as well as a Bose home entertainment system.

The master bedroom with a king-sized bed and nice fluffy pillows. The nice and soft. Blissful!

The bathroom is very modern with contemporary fittings.

They even have a sunken bathtub!

They even provide a laundry basket that looks like a chest (my son is holding on to it). Noticed also behind him is a sunken granite alcove where scented candles can be lighted. There is also a weighing machine!

At the back is a balcony that overlooks the river. In terms of location, the resort is on the famous Pulau Duyung - where all the traditional boat builders are sited.

Picture of me enjoying the scenery.

The river front.
