Bistro Review: Halia Restaurant, Sime Darby Convention Centre
This is a new restaurant and all the furniture and fittings is brand new. The ambiance is warm but it has yet to create an atmosphere of its own.
I visited the establishment on a Saturday night. There were only 5 tables of guests. I had the barbecue buffet. The buffet also includes a Mongolian barbecue stall, a kebab stall as well as a good spread of desserts.
The barbecue concept is slightly different at this restaurant. The meat is cooked away from the diners and waiters will go from table to table meter-long skewers full of meat for the guest to choose from.
The buffet is priced reasonably at just RM30++ and parking is free. For that price the food is good.
Verdict: Recommend you try the restaurant.
