By this time, it was just past noon and we where hungry. We entered Frontierland as we read somewhere Cajun style and deep fried cooking is a specialty in this zone.
As the name suggest, the area is dedicated to the exploration of the new world.
Very 'cowboy-ish'. Anyway, something has changed from 17 years ago. Then, this "Shooting Exposition" used air-rifles to fire pellets. Now, (because of safety reasons I suspect), it fires lasers instead.
Picture of my wife with a map leading the hungry pack to food!
Downcast day but it makes it nice to walk for hours without breaking into a sweat.
Deep fried chicken Louisiana style. My daughter with a mouthful of deep fried cheese.
Nice to have a picnic-like lunch.
At one corner is the Mexican quarter, restaurants with Mexican themes in haciendas.
Minimal crowd!!!
Our first face-to-face with a Disney character - Woody!
A monument made out of a Petrified Tree - excellent explanation that even the kids could appreciate and understand.
The next ride was the Pirates of the Caribbean - no queue!!! They even had to have pirate characters (the man with the beige pants on the right of the photograph below) go out and encourage people to have a go at the ride.
The exit of the ride brings you to the middle of New Orleans Street. Loads of shops here.
A shop that caters to anything to do with crystals...
A beautifully decorated drinking fountain...
A French restaurant.
Another major attraction is the Haunted Mansion. Spooky...
The horse carriage without any horses.
To be continued.
