Salperton IV, the latest creation to come from Fitzroy Yachts, has been launched. Testament to the award winning success of Salperton III, the European owner again engaged Fitzroy Yachts for the creation of his next luxury sailing yacht Salperton IV.
The new Salperton handed over today has been designed and built for even better sailing performance and long range cruising. She is 45 metres long with a 61 metre Southern Spars rig including Future Fibres PBO rigging. She has a 573 square metre mainsail with an impressive total sail area of 3752 square metres.
The interior design is by Adam Lay Studio and the naval architecture by Dubois. Salperton IV departed New Zealand today for a three month Pacific cruise following which she will cruise the Caribbean and Mediterranean next season.
