Amels delivers fifth Limited Editions 171 superyacht

Amels has delivered the fifth Limited Editions Amels 171, exactly to the schedule her owner prescribed. The 52.30 metre superyacht, designed by Tim Heywood, has an interior styling resulting from a collaboration between Laura Sessa Romboli and Nuvolari & Lenard.

Production went without fault, including the enthusiastic participation of Nuvolari & Lenard, who were designing their first Amels yacht. As a result of meticulous planning, and the experience of five Amels 171 builds, the superyacht was completed in just eleven months after her hull was moved into Amels’ Vlissingen facility.

The final months were stress-free, and trials required only one day on the North Sea, including full acceptance by Lloyd’s Register and the owner, who called the superyacht’s quality, finish, and delivery “above all expectations.” The luxury yacht is managed by Imperial Yachts of Monaco.

There are currently nine projects under construction at the Amels shipyard, whose order book has scheduled deliveries into 2013.
