A morning walking in Lake Garden, Kuala Lumpur

On Sunday, we decided to visit Lake Garden since we spend the weekend in town. Instead of driving, we walked across KL Sentral, down the pathway towards Museum Negara and into Lake Garden.

Below the pedestrian crossing from Museum Negara. The gate is locked from 8:00 p.m. onwards.

There are quite a lot of refurbishment works being done in the Garden. Nevertheless, the scenery is very refreshing. A real difference from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I am also quite pleased that cleanliness is kept at very high levels.

I didn't know that there is a Deer Park there as well. Saw some of the residents.

When we were there, there was the Color Fun run being organised and a number of stalls were opened. There was also a hot air balloon ride!

While walking in the park, saw this signage.....they must really worship trees in the old days.

People waiting for their turn to ride the hot air balloon.

The many food stalls opened up specially for that day.

My gang limbering up.

Football time.

Loads of beautiful flowers blooming in the park.

The park also has this large area fully covered with a high roof so that in case it rains, visitors can wait it out under the cover.

There's this Brazilian nut tree that they built a platform around it. Here is a picture with my eldest...

....eldest and the third.....

...all three.
