Bilgin launches 123ft superyacht with an interior by Hot Lab

Earlier this month the Turkish based shipyard Bilgin Yacht launched their latest superyacht, a custom 123ft motor yacht. The slender exterior lines have been designed by the shipyard's in-house team, while the interior styling comes from the drawing board of the Italian studio Hot Lab Yacht & Design.

The interior is characterised by polished greige tinted oak veneer throughout the yacht, except for the main saloon, and thanks to the wise use of Thassos marble and precious carpets the team of Hot Lab has created a warm and elegant ambience.

The main saloon, aft on the main deck, features a completely different color combination and blends all kinds of different materials; dark tinted ebony is the main veneer, accompanied by modern lacquered inserts, fabric and leather panels on walls and ceilings, and a very accurate choice of high standard loose furniture. The plaited leather on the covering panels makes the environment very comfortable and austere at the same time.

Adjoining to the main saloon is the dining area and moving forward there is a spectacular staircase connecting the lower and upper deck. To the left there is the galley and in the forward section is the full beam owner’s suite featuring a seating area, a desk, two extra wide beds and an en-suite bathroom including a luxury bathtub, a wide shower area with sauna and steaming room.

On the lower deck are three guest cabins: astern there are two double guest cabins and afore one VIP cabin. A second saloon is situated on the upper deck, as well as the wheelhouse.

Modern furniture can easily sit more than 8 people on the flybridge and a bar facing aft; a huge sofa and sunbeds complete the sun deck.

Following her launch the Bilgin 123 Custom will start sea trials next month and delivery is planned for January 2010.
