The Haven Restaurant, up on the Ampang Hills

Went to visit a new restaurant that just opened a few weeks ago. It is situated on top the Ampang Hills overlooking Kuala Lumpur. Travelling time takes about 30 minutes from the centre of town (depending on traffic).

The concept is chic and modern. However, the food was a disappointment. Despite the efforts made for the presentation of the food, the taste sucks. It did not justify for the prices listed on the menu.

If you just looking at having a cup of tea or coffee and see the sun set over Kuala Lumpur, this is the place to go. I suspect the view when there is a firework show will be spectacular.

Verdict: will only go there for the view.
