Business experiment of allowing staff work from home

This is the second month of my company's total computer system reinvestment exercise. Spending RM1.4 million with the following objectives:

- replace all obsolete systems
- upgrade network bandwidth to enable HD video quality throughput
- install systems and functionality for communication, command and control

By December, the staff can (theoretically) work from home - the office is no longer a physical address. We can be all over the the world yet be digitally connected, through visual, audio and electronic database.

I am not sure of any organisation in Malaysia that has such capability. This will be an interesting business experiment. If it is a success, it will be a new style of work culture.

I will provide additional detail as it comes in.
