The Genoa International Boat Show saw the debut of the largest superyacht built by the Permare Group to date, the Amer 116’. The general arrangement of this luxury yacht is especially noteworthy with three large staterooms, instead of the usual five staterooms found on yachts of this size. On the main deck is the master suite, which features an impressive bathroom with a bathtub. Two additional full beam guest staterooms are on the lower deck.
Another special feature of the Amer 116 is the elevator which serves all three decks. The spacious and symmetrical living room is situated on the main deck and is separated from the dining room by the elevator and circular stairs. Adjoining to the dining area is the white Corian fully equipped galley.
On the upper deck is the large wheelhouse with aft, the elevator and surrounding stairs and forward, a seating area and the bridge. The Amer 116’ has room for three crew in two cabins on the lower deck.
The exterior of the 35.35 metre superyacht has been designed by the studio of Massimo Verme, Verme Projects. Built to RINA class, the Amer 116’ can reach speeds up to 27 knots and cruises at 22 knots.
The interior design is based on warm colours among the shiny and mat mahogany, panels covered in leather, precious materials for coverings and light oak floora. The interiors have been designed by Stefano Tini of Perugia who also worked with the Permare Group on their Amer 86’ and 92' models.
A spacious garage in the stern and an engine room fitted with twin 1,825hp Caterpillar C32 engines complete the new Amer 116’.
