A couple of weeks ago, a fire gutted thePresint 9 Surau in the early morning. No one was injured. Below you can see the fire brigade fighting the fire.
When the fire was finally put out, the roof over the main hall was totally destroyed.

In the morning, the area is still under quarantine for investigators to find out the cause.
The clock in the Surau stopped at 2:43 am. The fire must have started just before that.
