Continuation from: A weekend at Double Tree Hotel Kuala Lumpur - Part 1 - Registration, the room and the view
On Saturday after breakfast we went for a walk around the KLCC area. While going down to the ground floor, took a picture of the tol gate for AKLEH.
From the Intermark building complex, there is a pedestrian bridge that connects the building to the entrance of the underground opposite Ampang Park.
Looking back you could see the Intermark building complex with a number of key anchor tenants such as Double Tree, Jaya Grocers, J.P.Morgan and many more.
You will also pass Kuala Lumpur's first shopping arcade, the famous Ampang Park Shopping Centre. This place looks so small now.
Jalan Ampang looking unusually quiet for a Saturday morning.
Similarly with Jalan Tun Razak.
Closer towards KLCC saw the largest hotel limo!!
Avenue K.
The Maxis building and one of the twin Petronas towers.
The KLCC park. 10 years ago, the number of buildings you can see in the horizon is half of what you can see now.
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel building.
My kids at the park.
All three of them again.
The new Tower Three.
Azhar on a swing. The last time he was on the same swing was 7 years ago. Then, he was just a baby.
The twin towers and all their glory.
A selfie with the twin towers.
Back to the hotel. It was a good walk.
Only spent a night at the hotel. After another round at the pool, it was time to vacate. Nevertheless, the hotel still allowed us to use the lounge facilities well pass noon.
The kids relaxing at the outdoor balcony which is on the 34th floor.
The Executive Lounge.
Just before we left the building saw the menu of one of the many restaurants at Intermark. Note the funny star names used for their menu.
The end.
