It is almost heart rendering to read the circumstances behind the death of 3 young children due to fire in Penang. Just a few weeks ago, the same kind of incident happened. In that case, 2 children were killed. As a parent, your fervent wish is to die first before your children. That situation will be less painful than to endure the agony of going through life by the parents of the kids killed recently. I pray that the souls of the dead be at peace.
These kinds of situation are not acceptable. As a nation to the road to being a developed nation, we must have laws to force people staying the dwellings more susceptible to incidences of fire to take additional precautions such as getting wiring done by certified wiring technicians. I know the complaint will be the costs and the inconvenience of the whole process but could such a cost be considered higher than the cost of a live?
