SuperYacht of the Week: Superyacht duo from Maiora Yachts

The Maiora M35 and the M35Jet are the latest jewels in the Maiora fleet, a name that boasts over 30 years of experience in the construction of prestigious motor yachts. These new 35 metre superyachts stand out, not only for their dimensions, but mostly for the design that combines comfort and luxury, safety and practicality, elegance and aggressiveness and tradition and innovation.

The Maiora M35

The owner of the M35 has opted for a superyacht with soft, pleasant colors, brought out by refined lighting. Her interior walls, made of light durmast, create a beautiful contrast with the wengè floors, while ceilings are lined with ivory leather that produces a warm and comfortable ambience.

Each room on this Italian yacht, is designed to recreate a typical home environment. The owner suite for example, is wonderfully comfortable, yet highly functional.

The suite has wide wardrobes with huge mirrors, and the owner’s bathroom features modern satiny-steeled fittings and onyx and macauba marble.

The main saloon is a large open space, ideal for entertaining or lounging and enjoying the technology of Home Theater TV facilities. Forward of the lounge area, there is a beautiful inlaid durmast table for the dining.

The M35 is powered by two 2700 HP MTU 12V 4000 M90’s which allow for a cruising speed of 23 knots.

The Maiora M35Jet

The M35’s faster sister, the M35Jet, also features classic and harmonious lines, superior interior space, and is constructed using high tech materials, such as Kevlar and carbon. Her main attraction is of course her waterjet propulsion, a feature that the FIPA Group up to now had used only on AB motoryachts produced in Massa by AB Yachts.

The M35Jet features a stunning sun deck, that is partially shaded by a large fixed awning. The deck is laid out with comfortable sofas, sunloungers, and a large dining table than can accommodate up to ten people, who can enjoy succulent lunches in the open air.

Again, on the M35Jet, the main saloon is a large open space. Dark wengé floors contrast with the modern white furniture. The room features comfortable sofas and technological comforts, like Home Theater and SAT TV system. The dining room, forward of the main saloon, features a large glass topped table seating 10. On the main aft deck there is another dining area. From this guests have access the sea, through two side stairs leading to the bathing platform.

In the guest accommodation, the master cabin forward on the main deck, and the guest cabins on the lower deck, the use of natural materials – wood, leather and linen create a simple yet refined style.

The lower aft deck is home to the yacht’s powerful engines. She is fitted with three 2400 HP MTU 16V2000M93, that combined with her three 550MJP waterjets, allow the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 46 knots.
