New 80 metre superyacht by Carlo Cafiero

Superyacht designer Carlo Cafiero and the TechMarine shipyard have released information on a new 80m concept, characterized by an aggressive design that features a high bow, and coloured polycarbonate bulwarks towards the stern. The polycarbonate bulwark protects the sea level swimming pool located just forward of the swim platform.

The concept features a steel hull, and an aluminium hull. The yacht has a projected 16knot cruising speed, and a projected range of 5000 nm at an economical speed of 15 knots. She is powered by twin 2,260hp caterpillar diesels.

On the bow of the superyacht, there are helicopter facilities for an Augusta Grand, which can be stored in a dedicated hangar below the heli platform. The four deck layout offers room for the owner and 28 guests, and 30 crew.
