The Top 6 Water Guns of All Time - The Best Battery-Powered Gun

In 1985, inventor Alan Amron created the first battery-powered water gun. Because these guns use an electric motor to pull water from the tank and force it through the nozzle (a task that was traditionally done through finger pressure alone), they can shoot with more power and speed than typical squirt guns. Our favorite battery-powered gun is the Water Warriors Tarantula, which, unlike older AA-powered blasters, uses a rechargeable 9.6-volt nickel-cadmium battery park. It also earned high marks in the power and accuracy departments during our rigorous middle-school test.
