Business, Economic & Finance: Malaysian economy showing signs of slowdown

"The Edge - Malaysia's economy is showing signs of a potential slowdown for the rest of the year despite the strong 7.1% gross domestic product growth in the first quarter of 2008, economists said."

This is not unexpected. With the results of the election and the scaling back of projects, the economy is bound to suffer. Coupled with spiraling commodity and food prices, we are in for an economic re-balancing.

Forget about maintaining current prices. What we should all do is to revamp our lifestyles to fit into the current situation. Usually, this is the hardest part.
