Recycling Initiative: How to start a recycling business

First this is that you need is a place to store all the items you want to recycle. It would be best to start small. I recommend you buy 5 huge rubbish bins. Buy also the biggest trash bag you can get to line the bins.

Once you have that ready, you can start to separate you recyclables to the following:

1. White paper (current value RM0.35 per kg)
   
2. Mix paper and cardboard (current value RM0.30 per kg)
3. Metal items (current value RM0.70 per kg)
4. Aluminum cans (current value RM5.50 per kg)
5. Plastics (current value RM1.00 per kg)

For newspaper (current value RM0.30 per kg), you just need a small place to pile it up.

If you noticed, I disregarded glass. this is because, at the the moment, there is no value for glass. unless you are a true environmentalist, you can disregard this item (especially when space is a premium).
