Location Review: Botanical Gardens, Putrajaya (2)

Took the series of pictures using my camera phone. Visited the Botanical Gardens over the weekend.

Below is an interesting sample of a hibiscus flower. What makes it interesting is that it has another flower growing within the main flower. I wanted to buy such a plant a few months ago but was put back by the price tag. All other hibiscus were going for RM2 per plant but for this specie it was priced at RM10 per plant.


Orchids are also in abundance at the Gardens. I only managed to take just a couple of shots.

Below is a photo of a Morning Glory Flower along a covered footpath at the gardens. In the afternoon when the sun is high, the purple colour makes the whole pathway glow is a purple tinge. Very romantic.
