"The Edge Daily - Local authority Perbadanan Putrajaya has appointed Universiti Teknologi Mara's Malaysia Institute of Transport (Mitrans) as consultant to relook into the viability of the long-proposed Putrajaya Monorail, raising hopes that the government may soon revive the long-delayed project."
About time they did this review. It is becoming an eyesore in Putrajaya. I use the car in the morning to get to Kuala Lumpur at around 7.20 a.m. During this time, the traffic condition is horrendous. The queue at the bus stop, especially at Presint 9 (I know as I live there) is like a snake.
No one should be concern with the financial possibility of the monorail project. I have a gut feel that it will be profitable. Why? This is because apart from the workers, tourist will also use the service to view the scenery from a different vantage point.
