Villa Danieli is an Italian restaurant situated on the 5th floor of Hotel Sharaton Imperial in Kuala Lumpur. It is a fine cuisine establishment and the food and price reflect that.
The décor, although nice, looks jaded due to age. I do not believe that they have done any refurbishment since they were established many years ago.
The food is nice, simple and not to extravagant. Someone with a small stomach will be at ease with the portions. For the big eaters, it would be just sufficient. The only gripe that I have is the service is still handled by foreigners.
This restaurant is a happening place. When I was there for lunch, I could see 3 CEOs from 3 different banks in having lunch. The restaurant was packed with patrons. If anyone wants to visit the restaurant, it would be best to make reservation (call 03-2717 9900).
Verdict: Will come again to try other dishes that look quite tasty
